There's almost no reason to pay retail for spa services anymore. Between Spa Week's barrage of deals at day spas and many once prohibitive high-end spas offering free nights or spa credit with a couple night’s stay, spa-going is more democratic than ever before. Heck, it's the new national pastime. Here are some of the best deals going in May and June.

The Mid-Week Deal
Mayflower Inn & Spa, Washington, Connecticut
Normally the rooms at this seriously luxe inn start at $710, but through May 15, you can land one for $550 (single room), and get a 60-minute spa treatment (valued at $198) and a full breakfast. What’s the catch? You have to stay Sunday to Wednesday.

The It’s A Holiday Special
Sense, A Rosewood Spa at Rosewood Sand Hill, Menlo Park, California
Thank Mother’s Day for this deal, which is available the entire month of May—and to people who aren’t moms. The Express Treatment (it’s really 2.5 hours) comes with a 30-minute massage, 30-minute facial, manicure, plus a shampoo and blow-dry by a senior stylist at Alex Chases Salon and costs $200. A great head-to-toe deal.

The Last-Minute Deal
Red Mountain Spa, St. George, Utah
Unbooked rooms at this top hiking spa, a quick trip from Las Vegas, go for a song—$179 per person, including three meals, guided morning hikes, yoga and fitness classes, and more. (Available through June 30, 2010). Spa services at the Native American-theme Sage Spa cost extra, but they’re not exorbitant: A 50-minute massage for two costs just $210.
