Valentine’s Day Spa Packages
Valentine’s Day is a popular time for hotels to offer packages with champagne and romance concierges (you know, to help your hopeless partner plan a romantic evening out), but it’s not as easy to find packages that include spa treatments and massages. Luckily, we’ve done the searching for you, and we’ve found some great budget options as well as some luxurious extravagances. For both a romantic and relaxing February 14 (or thereabouts), try out these hotels and spas, from East Coast to West.
The Budget Picks:
The Westin Beach Resort & Spa, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Sunsets on the beach are already dreamy, but the Westin Beach Resort & Spa is taking the swoon factor a few steps further with its “Rekindle Romance” package. It starts at only $319/night and is available for stays from February 10-15. What do you get? The package includes breakfast in bed, a visit to Shula’s on the Beach (for dinner, the Chef’s Tasting Menu, and wine!), champagne and strawberry turndown, and the Heavenly Healing couple’s spa treatment at the Heavenly Spa.
Hotel Packages for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships in NYC
Summer may be just about over, but later this month New York City will heat up with one of the world’s most exciting tennis tournaments: the U.S. Open. If you plan on coming to the Big Apple for this premier event, be sure to book one of these tennis-themed hotel packages to sweeten your stay.
Both the Gansevoort Meatpacking and the year-old Gansevoort Park Avenue are participating in the brand’s Gans, Set, Match package. In addition to nightly accommodations, the promotion includes Champagne and sliders for two at the rooftop lounge, two Lacoste polo shirts, two portable seat cushions, two Gansevoort caps, and an unlimited weekly MetroCard for subway transport. The hotels can even secure tickets to the matches, for an extra fee. Rates start at $462/night at the Gansevoort Meatpacking and $492/night at the Gansevoort Park Avenue for stays August 29-September 11.
Your Minibar is Ringing
Hotel Gansevoort was one of the first establishments to start the transformation of the once gritty streets of the Meatpacking District from meat to complete… with luxury.
Now the neighborhood is synonymous with chic, and the Gansevoort still stands above the rest in terms of modern amenities. For proof, just check out the mini bar.
Swim and Spa Deal in New York
The sidewalks are starting to sizzle, so why not ride out the heat wave poolside? Located in the heart of Manhattan’s fashionable Meatpacking District, the stylish Hotel Gansevoort is an ideal hideaway, especially on hot summer days. It’s hard to top a refreshing swim in the 45-foot-long pool on the 15th floor. The hotel’s Renewal Day package guarantees you a prime poolside seat with one free drink at the aptly-named Plunge rooftop bar. Plus, book now to enjoy an hour-long massage or facial and one free fitness class! This package is available weekdays through September 30 and starts at $250 per person. Even though this daytime deal doesn’t include overnight accomodations, the spa treatment alone is valued at $120 or more and the perks will make your day even brighter. Nightly summer rates for guestrooms start around $265.
New Gansevoort Turks & Caicos Opening in Late March
What would a Gansevoort be without a sexy pool? The new Gansevoort Turks & Caicos, set to open in late March, is no exception. The Grace Bay Beach newbie will show off a 7,000-square-foot infinity pool with “lounging islands” that will look as if they float on the water’s surface, and can be used as sun beds by day and intimate dining areas come night. Other highlights will include two Bagatelle outposts of New York restaurant fame and a beachfront Exhale Spa.
Also, check out the recently opened Gansevoort South Beach with a stunning rooftop pool and bar called Plunge, and full-scale nightclub, Louis, the latest in a family that includes hotspots Prive and Mansion.
