Lisa Wicks grew up in Orlando, Florida in the shadow of Universal Studios and Disney. Though the world at Disney was impressive, she found her travels to Australia, Scotland, Thailand, and Vietnam more immersive in culture and history. Currently craving adventure of a different sort, she now resides just outside of New York City and is learning the challenges and conveniences of city life while pursuing career in publishing.
