Growing up in a tumbleweed Texas town made Khiara Ortiz an anywhere-but-here girl who couldn't wait to leave home and study journalism at big-city school, New York University. Visiting relatives in Colombia and tagging along on business trips with dad sparked her love of travel. As an editorial intern at ShermansTravel.com, Khiara hopes to get a handle on the industry and do the only thing she loves more than travel: write about travel.
