Sherman's Travel

Jennifer Vanasco grew up as an "airline kid" flying around the U.S. with her mom, who worked for United until her retirement. Since then, she's been to six continents - everywhere from Kenya to Kyoto - and 49 states. Most recently, she was the editor in chief of MTV Network's LGBT news website 365gay.com, where she wrote destination features for Logo Network's travel website. She's written chapters for Fodor's Where to Weekend: Chicago and updated Fodor's Gold Guide to Chicago, plus she wrote a guide on traveling solo for Out & About and many travel stories for the Chicago Free Press.
