Two trendy New York hotels are offering a deal that gets you to both city and sand for less this summer.
For a starting rate of $1,100 at double occupancy, you can spend two weekend nights in Manhattan’s West Village at The Maritime Hotel and two weekday nights in Montauk at The Crow’s Nest with lake views and a private deck.
The deal at these two properties (both from NYC hotelier Sean MacPherson, who also owns The Bowery Hotel and The Jane), is cheaper than booking yourself. Try to book this on, say, August 4 to 7, you’d be paying around $243 per night at The Maritime Hotel and around $450 per night at The Crow’s Nest — bringing your total to $1,386. That means you’ll save at least $280 with the deal — and get a few extras bundled in as well.
The package also includes complimentary breakfast for two at both hotels (not bad, since Mario Batali is the mastermind behind La Sirena at The Maritime) and plenty of ways to fill your time at the beach, including complimentary surfing lessons from SURFSET NYC , where a single class runs $32, and access to bicycles and paddleboards, plus a signature Montauk Watermelon Cooler and Maritime Beach tote.
