Looking for a last-minute Labor Day getaway? (And can you say that three times fast?) We’ve rounded up some of the best hotel deals from September 2-5 so you can say au revoir to the summer in style.
Grab your mouse ears and spend the weekend at Buena Vista Palace Resort & Spa for just $99 per night. It’s within walking distance of the Disney Springs shopping and entertainment area, and a short drive to Walt Disney World. Since this is an official Disney resort, buses regularly run from the hotel to each major section of the park. Spending just one night? We recommend a king room on Friday at $99. For the rest of the weekend, we found double queen rooms for $99. Although Saturday costs more ($149), it’s still less expensive than other weekends during the month of September. Bonus: On Sunday, enjoy a character brunch right in your hotel! Note that the hotel’s pool is currently being re-done, however guests will have access to the spa’s pool facilities.
Spend the weekend at the 4-star Conrad for $189 per night in a deluxe city view king room. Always vibrant, Miami truly comes to life on holiday weekends, so this is the perfect opportunity for a last-minute girlfriend getaway or romantic weekend. The hotel gives off a quintessential downtown Miami vibe and is within proximity of the city’s luxury nightlife venues and restaurants. A big bonus: there’s a rooftop pool and bar. Other hotel amenities include the Atrio Wine Bar and Restaurant, a spa, and world-class fitness center. Other nights in September cost $210 per night or more.
The iconic and very glamorous Beverly Hilton, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is offering a discount of 20 percent when new (or current) members of Hilton’s loyalty program, Hilton HHonors, book through their website for Labor Day weekend stays. (It’s free to join.) With rates starting at $231 per night, visitors will enjoy the ultimate Hollywood experience at this hotel, known for the Golden Globe Awards, which are hosted here, and also for its celebrity guests. Featuring Circa 55 restaurant and the legendary Trader Vic’s bar (home of the original mai tai), there’s plenty to experience right on the property. Other weeks in September cost up to $287 dollars, even with the loyalty program discount. Looking to splurge a little? King bed, poolside cabana rooms start at $371 with Hilton HHonors that weekend.
Seeking a classic American getaway? Embassy Row Hotel in Washington, DC is offering a Rooftop Rendezvous in DC package. From $159 per night, you’ll stay in a deluxe queen room and receive $50 in credit to use on the panoramic rooftop that features a pool, cocktail bar, and grill. Located in historic Dupont Circle, this hotel feels truly cosmopolitan and is within walking distance of boutique shopping, eclectic nightlife, and dining. It’s also near Circle Park, where you might find yourself wandering through any one of several weekly farmers markets. All this, and you’re still within proximity of the major attractions throughout the city.
