According to this Orbitz report, the next couple of days will be some of the best for nabbing the lowest Thanksgiving airfare, whether you’re heading home to see family or venturing out on a vacation. Here are 11 great Thanksgiving hotel deals that dip as low as $99 per night, and top out at $189.
From $129: InterContinental Mark Hopkins (California)
Many of the rooms at this glamorous outpost on Nob Hill in San Francisco afford views of the city and Bay Area. Plus, it offers complimentary weekday town car service so you don’t have to worry about getting around. We were pleasantly surprised to see standard king rooms start from $129 per night on November 25 and 29. For the nights in between, rates bump up slightly to $189 — still a rare bargain for the pricey City by the Bay, where it’s difficult to find stellar accommodations for under $200 per night.
From $159: Essex Resort and Spa (Vermont)
This top-rated culinary resort is known for it’s cooking classes, two AAA Four-Diamond restaurants, and wellness facilities (indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, and spa). Except for Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, which have a two-night minimum for $189 and $174 respectively, rooms start from $159 for a traditional room all week. The resort is also hosting its own Thanksgiving buffet with carving stations for turkey, prime rib, and ham — plus a seafood and raw bar, pasta, and an array of traditional trimmings and desserts. The buffet is $45 for adults, $20 for children 6-11, and free for kids under 5.

How about giving thanks to a hotel that has a large pool complex with water slides, a full-service spa, several eateries, and a golf course to keep you busy? That’s exactly what this Marriott offers — and we’re thrilled to discover that their holiday rates aren’t marked up in the least. Between November 25 and 29, resort view guestrooms with one king bed or two doubles are as low as $149-$159 per night. Note: The advance purchase rate requires you to pre-pay in full.
