South Beach is a trendy destination, no matter the season — but visiting during certain times of the year can definitely yield better hotel prices. Case in point: November and December’s opening rates from $195 at Nautilus, A SIXTY Hotel.
The introductory prices are a nice dip from the rates in busier January and February, during which the cheapest room is priced from $250 and can even top $695 — more than three times the price of what you can book for stays in November and December. The $195 rates also include continental breakfast for two and are available for superior king and queen rooms on the nights of November 15-19, 22-26, and 29-30, as well as December 13-23.
The property is part of the recently launched SIXTY Hotels brand, which also has locations in New York City and Los Angeles. In Nautilus’ lobby lounge, find tufted gray sofas, metallic leather chairs, and artwork. Its 250 rooms overlook the city, courtyard, or ocean, and have Sferra linens, Ren toiletries, and a mini bar made to look like a vintage travel chest.
Guests can grab a drink at the Lobby Bar or head to Driftwood Room for Mediterranean breakfast, lunch, or dinner served inside and al fresco. For fresh air, step outside to the Nautilus Cabana Club for a dip in the heated saltwater pool or doze off in one of the Bohemian hammocks. Eight private cabanas each have a dining table, minibar, and entertainment system.
