Had your fair share of shivering and shoveling out? It may be high time that you book a trip to a warmer, drier climate. If you need a suggestion of where to go, San Francisco just set a record for absolutely no rainfall in January — and low rates at the city’s Hotel G make a trip here even more attractive.
Now through the end of February, the hotel is offering rates between $149 and $157 on select nights — a great deal in pricey San Francisco — when you book with the advanced purchase rate.
The hotel is in close proximity to historic Union Square, and just completed an extensive two-year renovation in 2014. Its 153 rooms are decorated in sophisticated neutral tones, with dark tufted headboards.
When we plugged in some dates, we found several that have a $149.25 price tag. Those can be booked for stays in a room with a queen bed from February 15-20. If those days don’t fit into your travel schedule, the price goes up slightly to $156.75 from February 21-23. Have to rule out February? Room rates do go up considerably in March, but we found the best rates to be available March 15-18 at $164.25.
