Each year, countless Americans make the New Year’s resolution to work on their wellness and get healthier. We’ve already told you about the ways you can stay healthy on vacation, but for those who’d like to incorporate a healthier lifestyle right down to their hotel stay, check into one of these wellness-and-fitness-focused rooms to maintain that resolution.

MGM Grand Hotel and Casino’s Stay Well Rooms and Suites
Just because you're in Sin City doesn't mean you can't keep working toward your goal. The iconic MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas has dedicated an entire floor to its Stay Well rooms, which feature a number of amenities that promote well-being like shower water infused with Vitamin C, an air purification system, a water filtration system, access to online programs for sleep, stress and nutrition, free access to the fitness center, and more. Rates start from $86 a night.

WestinWORKOUT Guestrooms
Why schlep all the way to the hotel’s gym or fitness center when you can have workout equipment right in your room? Select Westin properties -- like the Westin Chicago River North, the Westin Palace Milan, and the Westin Georgetown in Washington, D.C. --have accommodations called WestinWORKOUT Rooms that let you complete your regular exercise routine in the privacy of your own room. It’s like having your own personal gym, equipped with a treadmill or stationary bike, dumbbells, fitness DVDs, resistance bands, stability balls, yoga mat, and bottled water.

IHG’s EVEN Hotels
Super wellness-conscious travelers may want to stay at an EVEN Hotel, which has outposts in Norwalk, Connecticut and Rockville, Maryland, as well as a New York City property that opened in November 2015. (Two more are expected to open in the Big Apple, as well as ones in Seattle, Miami, and Omaha.) Here too you’ll find in-room workout apparatus, eucalyptus linens for cooler and better sleep, infused water, ergonomic work spaces, and healthier food choices. The hotel staff is knowledgeable about wellness and health, too, so feel free to ask for suggestions on exercise routes and fitness activities.

PURE Rooms
For more healthy hotel living ideas, check out PURE Rooms. Ideal for those who suffer from allergies or those who just prefer the ultimate in clean rooms, participating hotel rooms undergo a seven-step purification process that deep cleans heating and air conditioning units, uses a special solution for removing dirt and bacteria from surfaces, and dresses beds in allergy-friendly bedding. These special accommodations can be found at a number of well-known hotels, including the Hilton Times Square, Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, the W Taipei, and the Conrad Seoul.
