I came to Vail Mountain because I love Colorado, but also because some of the best spa deals at the popular ski resort occur between April and June. That means if you can get to Vail in the beginning of April just before ski season ends, you can score a sweet spa-n-ski getaway deal. If you can’t, there are enough spas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and saunas to keep you busy (busy relaxing, that is) for a long weekend, sans snow. But don’t worry, the babbling stream that runs through Vail village, combined with stunning mountain views and charming Swiss/German architecture is enough.
Here are a few of the best spring, shoulder season spa deals we could find:
Vail Cascade Resort & Spa: $69 Swedish massage promotion during the first and last spot of the day (usually 10am and 6pm). That’s about $100 off! There’s also 40 percent off all massages, facials, and body treatments through June, any time of day. That makes a $228 Ling Vitamin C Facial $136.80 during the promotion (I tried this facial with an eye lift add-on it was heavenly). The spa also offers complimentary access to an outside infinity pool, hot tubs, and Vail’s largest fitness facility.
Sonnenalp Resort of Vail: Offers 25 percent off all spa treatments with rates from $175 per night. (In the high season, you’ll pay upwards of $615 a night before spa amenities.)
Four Seasons Vail: Offers a 2 Before 2 spa package: Complete any two treatments prior to 2pm and receive the second at 50 percent off.
Vail Mountain Lodge: Offers a 2 Before 2 package where the second treatment is 20 percent off with a complimentary spa lunch served in a warm and spacious lounge with fireplace.
