This weekend ushered in the official start of fall, but that doesn’t mean you need to put away your bathing suit just yet. With beachfront resorts from Mexico to Aruba to Fiji, this week’s top deals allow you extend your summer a little bit longer, so you can dig your feet into the sand – and not dig deep into your wallet.
On Mexico’s golden Pacific Coast, the Paradise Village Beach Resort in Nuevo Vallarta is featuring rates for just $86 per person, per night this fall. That’s a savings of over 25 percent at the sprawling all-inclusive resort. The one catch is that a four-night minimum savings is required to reap these savings, but with a championship golf course, two spas, a marina, and a wildlife preserve, it’s unlikely that you’ll want to stay for less time. In nearby Los Cabos, the upscale Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa is offering all-inclusive rates for as little as $148 per person, per night through October 31 – a savings of 55 percent at this 4.5-star resort on the tip of the Baja Peninsula.
Aruba is famously outside of the Hurricane Belt, making it an ideal beach destination this time of year, when most other Caribbean islands are in danger of stormier weather. The Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba‘s “Hurricane Free” package includes rates for $181 per night – a 30 percent savings – plus daily buffet breakfast for two and late check-out. The package also features a “sunshine security” stipulation, with an extra $74 food and beverage credit per room if it rains more than three hours on any day during a visitor’s stay (74 isn’t a totally arbitrary number – it’s the minimum wind speed of a Category 1 hurricane). Chances are you won’t get that credit, so you’ll just have to settle for hours of uninterrupted sunshine instead.
And for those looking for more than just a quick getaway, you can take the ultimate luxury vacation to Fiji while staying at the 5-star Fiji Beach Resort & Spa for an irresistible $202 per night. The blue waters and soft coral reefs surrounding this island make it a diver’s dream, while the resort’s mile-long stretch of private beach and seven outdoor pools are perfect for anyone in need of some serious R&R. Their “Treasured Moments” package also includes 20 percent off dining at the on-site Nuku Restaurant, but it must be booked by Wednesday.
Don’t delay on making your summer last longer – these great rates will sell out fast.
