JetBlue is doubling its flights to Florida from New York’s LaGuardia Airport this summer, adding destinations to the airport most convenient to Manhattan.

Even better – until March 12, the flights to their three new destinations are on sale. One-way tickets begin at $99 to Tampa, $109 to Sarasota, and $119 to Fort Myers for travel between June 11 and July 31, 2012 (with blackout dates around the Fourth of July holiday, June 29-July 9).

The new LaGuardia to Tampa routes will be twice daily; Fort Myers and Sarasota are daily flights. JetBlue is also adding two more daily flights to Orlando and one daily flight each to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and West Palm Beach. That’s 16 round-trip flights to Florida from LaGuardia this summer.

JetBlue already flies to all six destinations from the nearby Kennedy International Airport, plus Jacksonville and Key West.

But New York isn’t the only gateway to Florida sunshine. JetBlue is also adding one flight a day to Tampa and two additional flights daily to both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando from Washington D.C.’s Reagan National Airport. Only the Tampa flight is on sale – it’s $79 one-way through March 12.

If you’d rather hit New England instead of the beach, don’t worry – the airline is also adding three additional flights to Boston from Reagan National.

The new JetBlue flights begin June 11, 2012. Want to book? Visit JetBlue.com or call their reservations line: 800-538-2583.
