Not sure what to do with that $100 Sears gift card you got for the holidays? Now through February 29, you can pay for a Caribbean vacation at Elite Island Resorts with your unused gift cards. Walmart, Home Depot, Amex – whatever you've got, Elite will take it, up to 25 percent of the cost of your stay.

On top of that, Elite will donate the gift cards to children's charities including Ronald McDonald House, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Make a Wish Foundation, among others.

Elite has 13 properties across the Caribbean on Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, the Grenadines, St. Lucia, and Tortola. The hotels tend towards the luxury end of the spectrum, but you can find rates under $150 per person, per night in January and February.

Gift cards can be used towards the discounted and package rates available on Elite's website, but you will have to call 800-858-4618 to make your reservation and alert the resort you plan to pay that way. Once the booking is confirmed, you'll mail the gift cards to Elite.

Sounds like the perfect way to get the gift you really wanted! www.eliteislandresorts.com
