Budget Rent a Car thinks you might if the price were right.

The rental car service has added 15 advertisement-wrapped cars to its inventory in Atlanta, and will let travelers drive these roving billboards off the lot through November for some steeply discounted rates, USA Today reports. Plus, anyone who opts into this promotion stands to score some swag and promotional materials from the vehicle’s sponsor (currently: Sheets energy strips).

Even if you think it’s tacky to slap advertisements onto rental vehicles like they’re NASCAR autos, test bookings revealed savings that might make selling out worth it:

  • August 24, 24-hour rental: Full-sized wrapped car costs $48; typical full-sized rental costs $108
  • September 2-4: Wrapped SUV costs $24/day; typical SUV costs $69.99/day
  • October 17 – 21: Wrapped full-sized vehicle costs $33/day; typical full-sized vehicle costs $83/day.

As someone who spent a year cruising in a mobile billboard of sorts, I give this promotion two thumbs up, with one caveat: Be prepared for some attention; wacky cars of all stripes get plenty of stares, honks, and waves on the road.
