Donald Trump may not be entering the Presidential candidacy ring, but he’s officially entered into the international space with his first hotel outside of the USA, the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower Panama. The hotel launched with a bang on July 6, with a fireworks show that rivaled any Independence Day celebrations back in America. In typical over-the-top Trump style, this hotel is Latin America’s biggest building, featuring 369 guest rooms, private residences, two floors of designer shops, a casino, three restaurants, four bars, a spa, marina, and private beach club, and a 13th floor pool deck. (Some parts of the hotel, including the casino, spa, and beach club will not open until later this year.) Luxury is definitely the theme of this hotel – all guest rooms feature private balconies with ocean views, plush Serta beds (exclusively designed for the Trump Hotel) and a deep-soaking marble bathtub, located separately from the rest of the bathroom. Open the curtains and you can soak while soaking in the views from the 10 foot floor-to ceiling windows or while watching the HDTV. Other great in-water views can be found from the infinity pool on the 13th floor – swim to the edge and gaze down at the Panama City panorama and ocean view. This sail-boat shaped hotel stands out not only on the Panama skyline, but also with its exceptionally helpful, well-trained, and friendly staff of over 1,000 people.

Donald Trump may not be entering the Presidential candidacy ring, but he’s officially entered into the international hospitality space with his first hotel outside of the U.S. – the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower Panama. The hotel, located in the heart of Punta Pacifica (minutes from the heart of Panama City and the financial district) launched with a bang on July 6, with a fireworks show that rivaled any Independence Day celebrations back in America.

In typical over-the-top Trump style, this hotel is Latin America’s tallest building,  featuring 369 spacious guest rooms, private residences, three-floor sky lobby, two floors of designer shops, multiple bars and restaurants, a spa, marina, private beach club, and a 13th-floor pool deck – built on top of a 45,000 square-foot casino. (The casino, spa, and beach club will not open until later this year.)  Luxury is definitely the theme here – all guest rooms feature private balconies with ocean views, plush Serta beds (exclusively designed for the Trump Hotel), and a deep-soaking marble bathtub, located outside the bathroom but made private if you like with the draping of a curtain. Soak up suds and the views through 10-foot floor-to ceiling windows or watch HDTV. Other great in-water views can be found from the infinity pool on the 13th floor – swim to the edge and gaze down at the Panama City panorama. The sail-boat shaped hotel not only stands out in the newly defined Panama skyline, but also stands out from the pack with its exceptionally helpful, well-trained, and friendly staff of over 1,000 people. Opening rates start at $229/night; 800-825-1043; www.trumppanamahotel.com
