jenna-edit.jpgThe Luxury Billed as the world’s largest river cruise ship, the sleek, 378-passenger Victoria Jenna, complete with a three-story lobby and balcony cabins, began plying China’s temple-lined Yangtze River late last year. Los Angeles–based tour operator Uniworld’s Highlights of China and the Yangtze package combines three nights in Beijing and two nights in Xian, a three-night sailing in style on the fabled waterway, and two more nights in Shanghai (hotel rooms provided by the likes of the Hilton and Sheraton). Guests will be granted guided tours of sites such as the Ming tombs and the Great Wall of China and pass by riverside sights like the Three Gorges Dam.

The Value With prices starting at $2,699 a person in June, the rates are some $400 less than those during the fall high season. Sherman’s Travel readers booking by May 8 will receive $200 off.
