Cowabunga, dude! The surf may be up in Hawaii, but one thing’s for sure: The Outrigger Reef on the Beach’s hotel rates are definitely down. Starting at just $249/night from now through December 21, this Waikiki Beach hotel is making quite a splash with its stay-and-play package. In addition to a one-night stay in a city-view room (rack rates are typically $389/night), the Ocean Promotion deal allows guests to choose between participating in stand-up surfing lessons or a leisurely cruise on the Pacific aboard a 45-foot long catamaran. Both activities are valued at $100.

About Outrigger Reef on the Beach: Having recently undergone a top-to-bottom, $110 million renovation, this premium hotel sits on the sunny shores of Waikiki Beach and contains 639 guestrooms with 32-inch flat-screen televisions, MP3 alarm clock radios, as well as high-speed Internet (which is complimentary). Outrigger Reef on the Beach also features a spa, swimming pool and sundeck, as well as a casual restaurant called Kani Ka Pila Grille.
