Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, which comes out in theaters tomorrow, promises to be as weird and wonderful as only a Burton-Carroll combo could muster. In honor of the film's premier, Mandarin Oriental, New York is offering a tasty-sounding Mad Hatter Tea daily in the Lobby Lounge until April 30.

Don't be late!

On the menu: A round of traditional Tweedle Tea Sandwiches including cucumber, watercress and goat cheese mousse; truffled egg salad with English country ham and cornichons on brioche; smoked turkey with brie and lingonberry jam on raisin walnut bread; and smoked salmon and pickled red onion with Meyer lemon-caper mousse on pumpernickel. Accompanying sweets range from Cheshire Catcakes to Queen of Hearts Linzer Tarts. And, naturally, guests can help themselves to a selection of "Drink Me" teas—at their own risk.

The tea is priced at $42/person and is served daily from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.

For a full Burtonastic day, we recommed spending the morning at MoMa taking in the current Burton exhibit (go early in the day to avoid crowds), then recover over tea at the Mandarin, and finally catch a late matinee of Alice. Where all this will leave your mental state we don't know, but we're guessing someplace fantastically interesting!
