If in these challenging economic times you’re eager to make a lifetime commitment to your partner—but not to paying off an endless list of wedding-related charges—consider a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort, where unlimited food and wine are part of the nightly rate. For little more than the price of a vacation, you and your close friends and family can enjoy a beachfront ceremony and reception without being needlessly nickled and dimed. Here are four options to consider:

Sandals
The Caribbean’s best-known couples-only all-inclusive resort operator with properties in Jamaica, Antigua, the Bahamas and St. Lucia, has partnered with entertainment guru Martha Stewart to offer six tropical wedding packages. The most basic, “Beautiful Beginnings,” is free with a stay of six-nights or more at Concierge Level and includes a consultant, officiant, bouquet and boutonniere, 5x7 photo, document preparation and administrative fees, hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine, and two-tier wedding cake for the couples and two guests. Five more elaborate themed ceremony/reception packages, incorporating everything from silk butterflies to seashells, range from $1,500 to $6,000 for the couple and two guests, with extra charges for additional guests. Room rates are $339 to $570 per night throughout 2010, if booked by April 22, 2010.

Excellence Resorts
At its adults-only resorts on Mexico’s Riviera Maya and the Dominican Republic, you can book the “Excellence of Love” wedding package, where for a $1,500 fee, you and up to 20 guests will enjoy a gazebo or beachfront ceremony with wedding coordinator, judge, bouquet and boutonniere, and one hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by Silver Wedding Dinner with floral centerpiece and wedding cake, plus 24 5X7 photos. Room rates of $220 to $350 per night are available through December 22, 2010 if booked by May 31, 2010.

Secrets Resorts & Spas
Another adults-only all-inclusive, with three properties south of Cancun, two on Jamaica and one in the Dominican Republic, this company offers its “Secrets of Love” wedding package for the couple and up to 20 guests, priced at $2,060. This includes wedding coordinator, judge, gazebo or beach pergola ceremony, one hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by dinner reception with centerpiece and wedding cake, plus 36 photos and two Wedgwood Vera Wang Love Knots champagne flutes. Room rates start at $630 per night, eligible for up to a 40 percent discount for stays through August 27, 2010.

Royal Hideaway
This intimate and upscale all-inclusive on Mexico’s Riviera Maya offers a range of wedding packages—from Complimentary (with any seven-night Deluxe Suite stay), which includes documents, coordinator, ceremony, justice of the peace, and champagne toast, to a trio of more elaborate packages—Extravaganza, Infinite Bliss and Luxury—offering flowers/décor, music, wedding cake, three hours of photography and dinner reservations at a specialty restaurant for up to 16 guests, priced from $2,300 to $3,700. Room rates from $600 per night, which is a 30 percent discount, if booked by April 30, 2010 for travel through December 17, 2010.
