Since all we seem to hear about in air travel news these days is added fees and hidden charges, we were happy to track down some refreshing refreshment news over at AA. Starting in October, American Airlines will begin offering free alcoholic beverages to members in its domestic Admirals Club lounges (a perk already offered in its international lounges). In addition to already complimentary coffee, tea, sodas, and juices, members and guests of the Admirals Club can now enjoy beer, wines, and well drinks free of charge (though there will still be a charge for some premium liquors, wines, and food), as well as peaceful lounges, free Wi-Fi, and computer access. But all these perks aren’t for free: First year membership to the Admirals Club is $500, or $50 for a one-day pass.
