Post Labor Day lull? As if. Gay travel heats up as temps cool down, and we’ve got four deals to get you on your way.

Win Free Airfare to NYC for Halloween

LogoTV is at it again. After having fans drooling over Gaga in Las Vegas, they’re inviting revelers to get their ghoul on in New York City over Halloween Weekend. Winners of the “Spooky in the City” sweepstakes will receive round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines and VIP access to the after party of the 37th Annual Village Halloween Parade, the largest and craziest costumed affair and street romp in the world. Love is in the Air with SAS

This December 6, SAS Scandinavian Airlines (the official airline of three of the world’s most homophile countries) gives all the single ladies the chance to put a ring on it – and give new meaning to the Mile High Club – by hosting the world’s first same-sex wedding in the air, manned by an all-gay crew, plus a high-end memory-making honeymoon to Stockholm and the ICEHOTEL. Open to all U.S.-based residents, couples create a profile and solicit votes by blasting as many friends as possible on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Glitter. Think of it as the Today Show Wedding contest at 30,000 feet. One lucky couple will get sumptuous Business Class flights with SAS to Sweden, two nights accommodation at the ICEHOTEL, where they’ll be married in its breathtaking Chapel with pews covered in reindeer skins, then three nights at the Hotel Skeppsholmen, a slick romantic gem secluded right in the heart of Stockholm.

Buenos Aires opens up LGBT Tourist Center

Argentina continues to assert itself as the gay mecca of South America: first in spirit with legal gay marriage, and now in actuality with the Pink Point Buenos Aires. Modeled after gay points in Amsterdam, Barcelona, and London, the continent’s first LGBT info center opened its convenient ground floor store-front September 2 in the heart of downtown (Galeria Luxor, Lavalle 669 near Florida Street; open 10am-8pm M-Sat, 4pm-8pm Sun). Staffed by multi-lingual employees and stocked with brochures, gay maps, and guides, travelers can book tickets and tours, purchase camp souvenirs, and ask questions and get ideas about what’s what in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina - all for free. Future plans include special Pink Point excursions and a gallery featuring local LGBT artists.
